Wind powered street light-science project

The speed of wind at different places of  the  world is  not same. The street light can be powered by small wind mill fitted in light pole.

           Wind street light is an intelligent,small scale and off grid LED street light system.It is an eco-friendly alternate energy  product  that  saves electronic energy  from  wind power generators. The energy will be used for lighting after sunset in the most efficient way,regardless of season or weather  conditions. It  has Highly effective  vertical wind turbine  which enables electricity generation  at low wind speed and various wind direction. DC powered  LED  lamp is used for Low power consumption. As there is no use of invertor,hence Saving electricity and better efficiency can be achieved.

Wicking pots are unique and increasingly popular way to grow flowers and vegetables.  A wick works through capillary action .Wicking  occurs in many materials cotton,wool, geo-textile, soil, gravel and even wood to some degree. When one end of the wick is saturated and the other end is dry, it creates a moisture gradient,which drives the wick until the gradient no longer exists or run out of water. As the plants use the moisture in the soil,it creates a moisture gradient (the soil is drier than the reservoir) which drives moisture through the wick into the soil.
